About a year ago, the earth opened up under our feet.\u00a0 We got hit in Paris then in the suburbs, because of a drawing, because we were a cop or a Jew.\u00a0 This absolutely unbearable thing took on a second face this last November 13th<\/sup>.\u00a0 This time each of us was used as a target.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Like we shared here on this blog:\u00a0 What to do?\u00a0 What to do about it?\u00a0 How to respond? To continue like nothing happened as our answer?\u00a0 To reinstate our liberty?\u00a0 No, this didn\u2019t seem \u201cright.\u201d\u00a0 This wasn\u2019t \u201cmy\u201d answer.\u00a0 But what to do?\u00a0 I would have liked to be given a direction, a plan to execute, an agenda to follow, but nothing happened.\u00a0 Nothing until this famous day<\/a><\/p>\n

when I understood that nothing would come \u201cfrom the others.\u201d\u00a0 I am not a political person, I am not a militant, I am not well within community group, I\u2026 I am\u2026 like that.<\/p>\n

The answer, is only up to me to phrase it.<\/p>\n

The idea of collaborating with Melissa dated back before November 13th<\/sup>. \u00a0But evidently the day of the workshop, December 7th<\/sup>, it was necessary to just\u2026 be there.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Be<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And what went down, is that we were all \u201cthere\u201d, present, listening to the moment, confident.\u00a0 We didn\u2019t evoke the past events, just our \u201ctwenties\u201d, and of course, the possibility to reconnect with ourselves, with the help of this caring assembly felt like a miracle.\u00a0 It was twenty of us, we didn\u2019t know each other, except a couple, but we exchanged thoughts for about 2 hours, we talked stories, we held each other in our arms, obviously we wept too.\u00a0 It was was absolutely magical and I know now that I can contribute to it, while being myself, while drawing from the best of my ability.\u00a0 Bah\u2026So let\u2019s continue, no?<\/p>\n

I want to thank Melissa Unger from the bottom of my heart for her faith in me, to the members who were so open and so generous.\u00a0 I invite you as well, again, to go and live this incredibly \u201cre-connecting\u201d and poetic experience with\u00a0Seymour+<\/a> who is celebrating its one-year anniversary tomorrow.\u00a0 Happy Birthday Seymour!<\/p>\n
