Je n\u2019ai pas voulu vous \u00e9crire de suite apr\u00e8s Nice. Que dire\u00a0? Je trouvais qu\u2019il \u00e9tait urgent de se taire<\/a>. De pleurer et communier sans r\u00e9pandre davantage de chagrin.<\/p>\n

Je me suis rappel\u00e9e d’une chose que mon p\u00e8re m’a dite quand je lui ai annonc\u00e9 ma rupture avec mon ex-mari : “vous \u00eates des \u00eatres intelligents et je compte sur vous pour g\u00e9rer \u00e7a intelligemment mais n’oublie pas que quand il y a des \u00e9motions, des \u00e9motions trop fortes, alors il n’y a plus d’intelligence.” Cette phrase m’a accompagn\u00e9e tellement de fois. Alors cette fois-ci, je n\u2019ai pas regard\u00e9 la t\u00e9l\u00e9, pas d\u2019images, je me suis prot\u00e9g\u00e9e. \u00c7a m\u2019a aid\u00e9e \u00e0 ne pas d\u00e9velopper ma peur. Pourquoi faire\u00a0? Si ce n\u2019est les servir\u00a0?<\/p>\n

Je suis arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 la sorte de certitude qu\u2019il n\u2019y avait rien \u00e0 faire dans un futur proche. Puisque \u00e7a va recommencer, puisque tu peux mourir, en terrasse, en concert, \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9, en club de nuit, sur une promenade, ici, ou ailleurs\u2026 alors, alors autant\u2026 VIVRE\u00a0! Et puis je me suis rappel\u00e9e des choses factuelles<\/a>, comme celles l\u00e0, et puis tous ces t\u00e9moignages absolument bouleversants d\u2019humanit\u00e9<\/a>. Et justement, je me suis dit, l\u2019humanit\u00e9 est immense et rien ne doit nous en dissuader, ni la peur, ni le d\u00e9gout inspir\u00e9s par ceux qui justement ont perdu toute humanit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

100 personnes meurent \u00e0 Istanbul, Bruxelles, Nice ou Orlando… et nous sommes des millions tout autour de la terre pour les pleurer<\/a>\u2026 c\u2019est vraiment grand, tr\u00e8s grand. Et \u00e7a ne doit jamais changer. Ils ne peuvent rien contre \u00e7a. Continuons de ch\u00e9rir l’humanit\u00e9<\/a>. De “faire” l’amour.<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t want to write right away after Nice.\u00a0 What to say?\u00a0 I thought it was critical to keep quiet<\/a>.\u00a0 To cry and commune without spreading greater sorrow.<\/p>\n

I remember something my dad told me when I announced to him that my ex-husband and I were splitting:\u00a0 he said you are both smart people and I count on you both to manage it intelligently but don\u2019t forget that when feelings are involved, strong deep feelings, it overshadows intelligence.\u00a0 This sentence stayed with me so many times.\u00a0 So this time I did not watch television, no images, I protected myself.\u00a0 It helped me not to build up my fear.\u00a0 What\u2019s the point? \u00a0It only plays into their game.<\/p>\n

I arrived at some sort of certainty that there was nothing I could do in the near future.\u00a0 Because it will happen again, because you can die at a terrace, at a concert, at the university, in a nightclub, on a promenade, here or elsewhere\u2026 so, so we might as well LIVE!\u00a0 And then I remembered those factual things<\/a> and all the testimonies absolutely stunning in their humanity<\/a>.And righteously, I told myself, humanity is immense and nothing should deter us from it, neither fear, neither the disgust inspired by those who in this case lost all their humanity.<\/p>\n

Hundreds of people die in Istanbul, Brussels, Nice or Orlando\u2026 and we are millions around the world to mourn and cry for them<\/a>\u2026 it\u2019s really great, very grand.\u00a0 And this should never change.\u00a0 They can\u2019t do anything against that.\u00a0 Let\u2019s continue to cherish humanity<\/a>.\u00a0 To \u201cspread\u201d Love<\/p>\n
